About Mari
Hi there! My names Mari and I trained as an Actor at RWCMD and then I studied Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media at RCSSD.
I've worked at the RSC, Regents Park Open Air Theatre, Sherman Theatre, Birmingham REP and recently featured in a BAFTA nominated film!
I'm also an award-winning playwright! I won the inaugural Violet Burns Award for Welsh Female Playwright and my debut bi-lingual play 'HELA' was nominated for a Stage Debut Award.
Why do I want to teach? I love helping people! Over my 10 years of being in the industry I've accumulated invaluable knowledge from both sides of the casting table but more than that I just wish I'd had a mentor like myself, to guide me at the beginning of my career! I want to help you avoid the mistakes that I made...
