About Dale Blankenaar
I am a published author-illustrator, a university guest lecturer and an art director in the publishing industry. My work has been exhibited in 10 countries, included in permanent collections across the world (including Northwestern University Library, USA) and is currently being translated in 14 languages, including Chinese. I am passionate about meeting people obsessed with art and design and sharing the experience and skills I've picked up along the way.

My teaching methodology is based on the needs of each student. During the initial session I will get to know you and find out what kind of creative career your would like to pursue. I will build a progressive lesson plan that will help you develop your creative skills so you can achieve your creative and professional goals.
I have been tutoring since my early university days, and whilst working as an illustrator, author and art director in the publishing industry, I tutored Bachelor degree students, helping them to craft their thesis projects. I offered lessons in art direction, illustration, typography, graphic design and creative writing. I look forward to working with you!
