About Cee Cee
---> First it was modeling... but that was too restrictive. I wanted to be me... to express me... so I picked up a bass. Then I put down the bass and joined a hard rock band and began writing their lyrics and belting out their songs on stage in San Diego. That led to other rock bands and more lyric writing and eventually, since Prince was like a lyrical God to me, I wrote and released a Funk/Pop CD. That fizzled (sadly as it's a damn good CD), and I went to the blues. All throughout my music career which is still ongoing, I wrote poetry, prose, memoirs and journaled. I never worked on getting my writings seriously published, (I'm working on that now), I only shared with friends who keep impressing upon me to write 'that book!'
---> Writing is thrilling to me. To be able to take hardcore emotions, a feeling, a friend's feeling or experience and find the words to express those emotions is exhilarating and cathartic.
