About Erica
I'm a professional award winning singer songwriter from Italy, known with stage name Erica Mou.
I released five studio albums and I perform all over the word with my music.
I was nominated for Best New Talent at MTV TRL Award 2011.
I won the Crtic's Choice Award at Sanremo Festival 2012 (the biggest Festival of italian music).
I was nominated for Best Original Song at David di Donatello 2014.
I worked with several directors and writers, writing and performing music for their movies and books (Rocco Papaleo, Paul Haggis, Roberta Torre, Pupi Avati, Chiara Gamberale, Valentina Farinaccio...) and I collaborate with amazing collegues (Raphael Gualazzi, MajiKer, Davide Rossi...).
I played in big festival such as Sziget, Heinken Jammin', Primo Maggio, in front of thousands people, and I play regularly in smaller venues and clubs since more than 10 years.
I have a University Degree cum laude in Literature and Art - Publishing and Journalism.
I also have experiences as writer, actress, radio speaker and announcer.
Now I'm based in London and I'm working on new music!

I'm keen to help you to free your natural voice!
In our lessons we will work on breathing, excercises, pitch, vocal health and interpretation; staying focused on both technique and emotions.
After a more technical first part of the lesson, we will work on the repertoire you (or we) choose.
However every single person is different and every lesson will be tailored on you, your level and your goals.
I started to attend singing lessons when I was five years old... and even if I teach I've never stopped studying!
That's because singing is a never ending (and amazing!) journey connected with our lives, bodies, feelings and toughts, that is constantly changing with us.
