About Jack
I have a huge passion for mathematics and love to impart my knowledge on others, I love to help people and I believe mathematics is a core skill everybody should have and it is important that those who are good at mathematics should pass on some of their knowledge.
In my first year at university I gained the ‘Top10 Award’ for top 10 average grades in all first year single and joint maths students. I also got the Goldsworth prize for ‘the highest merit in knowledge of applied mathematics’.

I have a very tailored approach to teaching, I start by identifying weak spots and where misunderstandings are before fixing the cracks in the foundations of knowledge and building on them to help students reach their maximum potential. I also tailor my teaching to each student's knowledge level and exam board to help them do as well as they can in exams.
I have undergone both a teaching work experience as well as a teaching internship that helped to advance my teaching skills.
