About Hossam
My name is Hossam Walid. I'm a Medical Doctor and proud graduate of Al-Azhar University, Faculty of Medicine, currently completing my medical internship in Egypt.
My journey has always combined two passions — medicine and education. Alongside my medical studies and clinical training, I have spent years teaching Quran recitation, Tajweed, and Arabic language to students of different ages and backgrounds. Seeing a student recite correctly for the first time, or finally understand a concept they struggled with, is something that never gets old for me.
I take teaching seriously. I prepare for every lesson, I pay attention to each student's pace and learning style, and I never move forward until I'm sure the foundation is solid. My students don't just memorize — they understand.
My background at Al-Azhar gives me something rare: deep religious and linguistic knowledge combined with a full scientific and medical education. This allows me to teach Quran and Arabic with proper academic grounding, and to support medical and pre-med students with confidence and real clinical insight.
I am a native Arabic speaker with upper-intermediate English, which allows me to teach Arabic to non-native speakers clearly and effectively, and to support students who are studying medicine in English.

We start with a quick review of the previous session

We practise together through recitation, exercises, or discussion
