About Ana Marija
I am a Professional Harpist from Serbia, with over 5 years of experience in teaching, 25 years of playing and lots of other experiences like orchestra playing, contests, competitions etc. I know and love learning languages, Serbian, Italian, English, bit of Hungarian, German.. It is always good to learn and become some form of art, the act feeds your soul with positive energy which in this century we lack. I love every form of art this one- music is my most favorite. I have been playing Harp since I was 7 years old, before that I played the piano and been a ballerina for a few years. I also have learned opera solo singing, have elementary school finished in that area. It is very difficult to learn a new skill but every great thing that is hard means that it is worth waiting and being patient for because at the end when you see and feel the result of your learning you become a different person, someone with new knowledge and experience. Which nobody can take away it is only yours, you can always get back to it at any time and any age. Music is good for developing and maintaining your Brain in good shape. Music is directly connected to language and mathematics, so by playing an instrument no matter what level you are you are actually developing new skills for life.

Perfect! She’s absolutely wonderful. She’s highly skilled as a harpist and takes the time to identify what may be holding you back. Each lesson, Ana gives me an exercise to continue practicing throughout the week. She analyses the form of my hand and how I’m holding my arms so I build proper habits. She helps me understand the why behind what I’m doing and if I need help with just music theory she’s happy to help. I’m so glad I found her. Harp is a wonderful challenge and having the right tutor makes all the difference.
