About Dalia
I am an opera singer at Semperoper Dresden, a leading German opera house. I recently completed my masters degree at the Curtis Institute of Music in 2025. I come from a Russian family and therefore am also fluent in the Russian language. Through my time at Curtis, I have mastered the diction techniques behind Italian and German alongside my mastery of the Russian language.

My vocal approach is one I would consider conservative. I err on the side of caution and use methods of building the voice alongside endurance to carry it forward that are based on the treatises of old Italian technical masters.
A typical voice lesson, depending on the level of the student, will involve warming up the voice, singing through a vocalize, and working through mutually agreed upon repertoire.
If the lesson is focused on phonetics, we will begin with vowels of the language and progress to patterns that can be memorized and applied to the language as a whole.
