About Phila
I am a Bachelor of Arts graduate, majored with English and History . Currently, I am registered at the University of Fort Hare to do my PGCE(Postgraduate Certificate in Education). I was a Peer Facilitator(tutor) for the first years at the University of Fort Hare for English and was an Educator Assistant for English at Sinethemba Senior Secondary School. The calibre of experience I have received through the programmes that I have part taken in have ignited an undying love for languages and humanities, hence the career path I have chosen. I also have a burning desire with the development of children, that is why I try to take part in programmes that will help me to become a better teacher when I get my qualification.

My teaching methodology is not to focus on one student, I try to engage the whole class, even the students who are not so confident. I believe that to have a healthy teaching environment every student must feel as though their opinion is important in class.
