About Shela Mae
Hello! I'm a fourth-year Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics student with three years of experience providing in-person math tutoring. I am passionate about helping students build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of mathematics.
My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student's learning needs. I simplify complex topics through clear, step-by-step explanations, guided practice, and engaging problem-solving activities. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop critical thinking skills and confidence in solving mathematical problems independently.

I believe that every student can succeed in math with the right guidance and practice. My teaching approach is patient, interactive, and student-centered. I break down complex concepts into simple, step-by-step explanations, followed by guided practice and independent exercises to reinforce learning.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous concepts, followed by the introduction of a new topic using examples and visual aids. Students then solve problems with my guidance before working on practice questions independently. I also provide feedback and tips to help them improve their problem-solving strategies.

My lessons are ideal for elementary, middle school, and high school students who need help with homework, exam preparation, or strengthening their foundation in mathematics.
