About Yasmin
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Music and have been teaching piano for over 6 years, working with students of different ages and learning backgrounds. My passion for music began in childhood, and the piano quickly became my favorite instrument—one that I now have the joy of sharing with others. Teaching has allowed me to combine my love of music with my desire to help students grow in skill and confidence. My approach to teaching is thoughtful, patient, and personalized. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt each lesson to their pace, goals, and interests. I focus on developing strong fundamentals such as sight-reading, technique, and musical understanding while also encouraging creativity and expression. Whether a student is preparing for an exam or simply playing for personal joy, I make sure each session is meaningful and motivating. I have worked with a wide range of learners, from complete beginners to those returning to the piano after years away. Many of my students have successfully passed music exams, participated in school performances, or simply developed the confidence to play independently. I take pride in celebrating every step of their progress and fostering a supportive environment where they feel encouraged to grow. In addition to teaching, I stay active in the music community by performing, composing, and continuing my own learning. I bring this energy and passion into every lesson, aiming to make music a lasting and enriching part of each student’s life.
