About Thea
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Music and have taught singing for over seven years, guiding students across various ages and styles. My background includes formal training in voice, ensemble work, and live performance, blending practical knowledge with artistic sensitivity in every session. My teaching method is supportive and structured, aimed at building vocal skill without compromising individuality. I work closely with each student to understand their voice type, musical goals, and stylistic preferences. Whether you're a beginner or seeking to refine your craft, I adapt lessons to meet you where you are. Outside the studio, I’ve performed as both a soloist and with vocal groups, appearing in community concerts and stage shows. These experiences help me offer well-rounded guidance—not just on vocal technique but also on stage presence and musical expression, making each student a confident performer.

Lessons begin with vocal health, breath control, and correct posture. We’ll explore simple warm-up routines and focus on pitch matching and clarity. Students will become comfortable producing sound with less strain and more awareness, laying the groundwork for vocal control, strength, and confident delivery.
As your skills grow, we introduce tone variation, vibrato, and vocal dynamics. Each session incorporates exercises to improve resonance and range, while working on different song styles—pop, classical, or contemporary—based on your interests. Emphasis is placed on emotional expression and storytelling through voice.
Advanced sessions include performance preparation, interpretation, and stylistic fluency. We’ll analyze song phrasing, vocal agility, and microphone technique for live or recorded contexts. I also help students prepare for auditions, exams, or recordings by shaping their unique sound with technique and expression.
