About Jude
I’m a guitar tutor with over 2 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Studio Music and Jazz, with Guitar as my principal instrument. My passion lies in teaching guitar for film scoring and video game soundtracks. I work with Electric, Acoustic, Classical, and Bass Guitar, helping students understand how each can serve different moods and scenes. Whether it’s creating ambient textures or driving action cues, I guide students through the art of storytelling with sound. My lessons focus on thematic development, sound design, and using DAWs to shape your musical ideas. I show students how to layer guitar parts, experiment with effects, and compose for emotion. Each session is tailored to your creative goals and skill level. I work well with youth and adults alike, especially those drawn to media composition and immersive sound worlds. You’ll learn not only how to play but how to think like a composer. We explore everything from harmonic progressions to building cinematic tension. I work especially well with The Blues Seeker and The Aspiring Rock Star. These learners often have strong instincts, and I help shape their raw ideas into original music. We explore songwriting techniques used by legends and apply them to your own voice. I also introduce creative tools for refining harmony, structure, and mood.
