About Swathy
I have six years of experience playing the guitar. I play rock, blues, heavy metal, death metal, punk, Spanish, funk, classical, bollywood, fingerpicking etc. I have taught kids as well as my friends to play the guitar. I'd like to impart my knowledge to help others on their guitar journey.

-In the trial class I will gauge your level and knowledge of the guitar, and accordingly adjust the syllabus as necessary.
-We will start with open chords and simple rhythms, which is the backbone of the blues. It'll give you a solid foundation.
-I will teach how to approach soloing in an understandable and fun manner.
-I will not be teaching licks, but rather improvisation, so that you will be playing original melody lines and find your unique guitar voice.
-The blues soloing mindset will be ingrained in you so that you will understand the idea behind making your own melodies.
-Although this is a beginner blues class it's not intended for beginners TO the guitar. You'll have to be at an intermediate or early intermediate level.
