About Kevin
I'm Kevin (also known as winterburn), a BBC Radio 1 featured electronic music artist with over 5.5 million streams, sync placements in TV and film, commercial work in advertising, and an upcoming release on P.O.U's rising label 'Of Us Records'. My lessons offer direct access to the methods, mindset and craft behind a working career in electronic music. For those serious about producing at a high level, I offer a focused, private learning experience built entirely around your goals.
Between preparing my upcoming release on Of Us Records and current promotion schedule, my private coaching schedule is nearly maxed out. I have the capacity to take on exactly ONE more serious student for July.

I teach Ableton Live at all levels, from complete beginners to experienced producers looking to refine their craft. Lessons are entirely personalised. We work on your music, your goals, and whatever is standing between you and the results you want. Topics covered include music production fundamentals, sound design and synthesis, songwriting and composition, arrangement, sampling, MIDI and music theory, mixing, and mastering for streaming platforms. Beyond the studio, I also cover the full picture of what a music career actually involves: releasing and pitching to labels, sync licensing for TV, film and advertising, music promotion and marketing, industry networking, DJing, and composing for commercial briefs. Each session is shaped around where you are and where you want to go. Whether you've never opened Ableton or you're ready to start building a presence in the industry, I'll share the same tools, connections and creative approach I use in my own career.

Perfect! I have worked with Kevin to help me integrate recording and technical skills to enhance sound-healing recording and performance. Kevin is a thoughtful, great listener, really knowledgeable. He adapted his style and teaching to meet my needs in terms of level and the purity of the experience I want to deliver.
He is patient, met me where I was, but also gives you confidence to learn more. He gave me great advice on how to improve my set up today and over time. I also feel I starting to feel less daunted by Ableton too.
