About Samuel
I am a second year student in Bcom Information Management. I major in Business Management, Logistics Management, Information Management, and Knowledge Economy. Prior to my current degree, I did Diploma in Accounting, where I majored with Finacial Accounting, Management Accounting, Economics and Business Management. I have held a position of a senior tutor at Tshepang Secondary School for 8 months. My main responsibility was to facilitate a learning climate that was open and non-threatening, prepare and facilitate tutoring workshops, collaborative projects, or academic support sessions for small groups of students, monitor student performance or assist student in academic enviroment and review class material with students by discussing text and working solutions to problems.

I give lessons from high school level to university level. I offer lessons from Grade 10 to 12 at the high school level and first year students at the university level.
My techniques and methods of instruction include:
1. Visualization: I bring dull academic concepts to life with visual and practical learning experience, helping my students to understand how their schooling applies in the real-world.
2. Cooperative learning: I encourage students of mixed abilities to work together by promoting small group or whole class activities.
3. Inquiry-based instruction: I often pose throught-provoking questions which inspire my students to think for themselves and become more independent students.
4. Differentiation: I differentiate my teaching by allocating tasks based on students' abilities, to ensure no student gets left behind.
5. Technology in the classroom: I prefer to incorporate technology into my teaching as a way to actively engage my students, especially since the digital media and information technology and the fourth industrial revolution surround young people in the 21st century.
6. Behaviour management: Implementing an effective behaviour management strategy to gain my students' respect and to ensure students have an equal chance of reaching their full potential.
