About Rohun
I am a BComm graduate from UofT, working in Corporate Finance at BMO. Teaching is something I really enjoy and have done for years. I was a soccer coach for 4 years and I have helped my nieces and nephews in their classes. Helping them was very enjoyable as seeing them happy was fulfilling. I look forward to working with you!

My focus when tutoring is teaching the why behind something first rather than the how as this ensures the student truly learns the concept. Once that is established, my lesson plan involves doing practice questions beginning with the fundamentals and then moving into questions that require the application of the concepts. I want my students to ask as many questions as possible so they build a true understanding of the material, and while teaching I will always encourage them to be curious. By doing this tiered approach, students develop their core skills and then learn how to apply them in different situations which creates a deep understanding of the topic. What sets me apart as a tutor is my experience coaching soccer. I have built training plans and worked with students one on one to improve their game skills. I know the power of understanding" why" rather than "how" as this philosophy has helped me be successful. My lessons are for elementary and middle school math (Grade 3-Grade 8) and High School English (Grade 9-12)
