About Bea
My name is Bea and I am a 20-something year old from England and from Spain. I have an undergraduate degree in Law with International Relations but what does that really tell you about me? I love to travel, to communicate, to learn and to meet others! I have not used my degree to become a solicitor as many of my colleagues and friends have, rather I have travelled and spent a year building connections across the world. I found myself enjoying extra language modules during university such as Italian and Mandarin because I love the sense of 'togetherness' we get from communication. I have volunteered at a School in Cambodia teaching English in a tongue I was completely unfamiliar with for 3 months. I learnt to engage, communicate and teach in this incredible experience and I have every intention to continue helping to teach others! I passed Spanish GCSE, A-Level and DELE qualifications. I also received an A in English Literature A-Level and have an LLB in Law with International Relations (in England). I have 8 years of experience with children, though this was not a tutoring role I acquired valuable skills on keeping children engaged. I begin with an introduction to the student, assessment of level and goals. I can teach English to Spanish students and vice versa! I will work with you to your own personal goals and I will make a plan according to this information. This can be revised by the student. I conduct my lessons online for 1-2 hours. I use presentations to assist my teaching. Lessons are conversational and we can use the first lesson to decide what works best for you.
