About Joaldo
I am a passionate and dedicated French teacher with extensive experience in teaching the French language, particularly to Brazilians and Portuguese speakers who are beginning their journey in French-speaking countries like France, Canada, Luxembourg, and Belgium. My personal and academic background offers a unique approach to teaching French. From a young age, I lived in French Guiana, where I attended a full-time French public school, making French my native language. At the same time, I learned Brazilian Portuguese from my mother, making me fluent and native in both languages. This experience allows me to deeply understand the specific needs of learners of French as a second language, especially those whose first language is Portuguese. Currently, I am studying for a Bachelor's degree in Letters – Portuguese and French at UniCV, which further strengthens my theoretical and practical training in language teaching. Additionally, I have significant experience as a teacher, working primarily with Brazilians who wish to adapt to life in French-speaking countries, whether for exchange or permanent residence. My teaching method is dynamic and personalized, always centered on the needs and goals of each student. Being a native speaker of both French and Portuguese, I can eliminate linguistic and cultural barriers, helping my students progress quickly and effectively, without language mistakes or accents that could hinder their learning.
