About Louisa
I have been a musician all my life, starting 5th grade with the recorder... then flute, trumpet, guitar, piano, and ukulele. The guitar and ukulele are my two favorite to play. I played a lot with friends in a band throughout college as well as played a few songs on our campus radio. I can't play the solo in Free Bird, but if you know the basic chords, you can play just about any song!

My teaching method starts with the basics.
Some scales and chords.
A typical day will work on some simple fingering techniques and scales to warm up, then practice some strumming and chords to learn some classic simple songs, as well as any song requests.
This is for beginner guitarists.
I have been playing guitar on and off for about 10 years. I love to pick up the guitar and play songs for people at parties where everyone sings along. I would love to teach others to do the same.
