About Mariana Samor
As an Arab oriental dancer, I had the opportunity to work with presentations at parties and municipal events and private events open to the public. I was a member of Cia de Danca Nanci Rocha for 6 years in Minas Gerais and after my move to the state of RJ, I currently give private lessons and regularly participate in events and courses to always update myself and bring news to my students. I participated in several workshops and courses. In São Paulo I had the pleasure of taking the sword dance course with Professor Shalimar Mattar, a great national and international reference for this dance modality. In addition, I took courses in sinuous movements, shimmies, body expression, theatrical expression and courses in specific oriental rhythms such as Baladi and Taqsin.

Dancing is in my blood, Lebanese descent and family have always encouraged me to dance.
As a teacher, my intention is to meet the learning needs of each student. Initially, I prepare students with the basic techniques of belly dancing and, as we advance, students discover their potential and passion for certain modalities, for example, if they have more affinity with veils, cups, sword dancing, etc. the work becomes more individualized and focused on these potentialities and also on the main points that need to be worked on. In this way, we leverage the best of you together and work on each one's individual difficulties.
I work with both free dance and choreography, which help to consolidate the learning acquired during the sessions. I always seek to complement my work with indications of teaching materials.
I have instruments such as swords and veils to lend to my students during face-to-face classes.
