About Perry
I'm an educator with 7+ years of experience working in bilingual schools, modifying curriculum and resources to best meet my students' needs. I have a valid Multiple Subject Credential with a Bilingual Authorization (BCLAD), authorizing me to teach Spanish up to grade 12, and work in any bilingual setting. Working across the K-8 spectrum has given me a deep understanding of how reading, writing and mathematics develops in English and Spanish across one's educational experience and development, helping me to best identify where students' are at and thus how to support them in their journey.

Unless requested beforehand, each lesson would include elements of speaking & listening, reading, and writing that is differentiated to meet the unique needs of each learner. This could look like practicing transferring sounds from Spanish-English for early learners, or perhaps critical feedback on a piece of university-level writing.
What sets me apart is that my lessons are FUN - learning a new language can induce anxiety and stress for many, so my approach is to bombard the learner with my self-depreciating humor and lots of love! :)

Perfect! Perry has tutored my daughter for several Spanish lessons so far. He has a wonderful energy that was super engaging for my child. He is very effective at building a positive rapport and this has made learning with him more fun and motivating for my daughter. He always arrives on time and prepared with a lesson that involves listening, speaking, reading and writing. He has been flexible and willing to incorporate ideas for what to focus on based on my daughters school assessment. I would definitely recommend him as a tutor!

Perry is an incredibly talented tutor who makes his sessions engaging and fun for my 10 yo child. Perry is always on time, and very good at communicating with me what he covered each session and what his plan is for the next. He thinks outside the box for ways to convey the material and for how to assess it to make sure my child is learning. I highly recommend Perry as a tutor.
Perry’s enthusiasm, experience, and ability to make math fun has been a huge plus for my daughter. She loves meeting with Perry because he’s so personable and empathetic he makes the experience incredibly positive. He gets to know his students and really cares. He is on time and always provides me a recap of what they worked so that I am abreast of their progress. I would highly recommend him!
Mr. Siniard is one of the most patient tutors I have ever worked with. Specifically he guided my learning in writing & mathematic, however I wouldn’t do this review justice without a special mention on how he nurture skills in teaching me my own learning style setting my future learning for success! 10 out of 10 !!
I highly recommend Perry. He is trustworthy. Has tutored my 6th grader and 10th grader since 2016. He is knowledgable in common core and resources to support their academics. Due to his support my 10th grader increased her grade.
