About Agnès
I grew up bilingual, helping in my family’s business in France - a chambres d’hôte, giving me the opportunity to meet a wide range of people from different backgrounds and nationalities, so I feel comfortable dealing with people and more importantly, I am used to putting people at ease. I am determined, sociable and kind - qualities that I believe a French teacher must possess.
I enjoy meeting new students, discovering how they learn best and curating my lessons according to their interests and goals and watching them progress and build confidence throughout.

I teach fun and engaging lessons - spanning from fluency and the correct use of the French language to creativeness, reading and writing - while focusing on my student's goals.
Being bilingual since a very young age and teaching both languages means that I have a first-hand understanding of common mistakes and transliterations; experience working on perfecting accents and a lot of practice widening vocabulary and strengthening understanding (both oral and written).
Although I am flexible, I have found that 50-minute classes are best for focus and involvement.
I travel and teach both French and English and most recently I have been a freelance teacher for Kreativ English as well as Adventures In English in Austria (teaching 8 to 16 year olds).
I also taught a group of French trainees for a business that was opening up a new international branch.
