About Ashley
I come from several generations of teachers in my family. I started tutoring other students in middle school and continued offering academic and instructional services to my peers through the National Honors Society and Teacher's Assistant Program (High School). I have experience coaching Youth club-level soccer and also tutored many students through the academic student center at Mississippi State University and the University of Southern Mississippi. I have undergraduate degrees in Nursing and Spanish Language and Literature. I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree at Louisiana State University in Construction Management through the School of Engineering.
I have specific experience in SAT/ACT preparation with proven score improvement techniques. I bring high energy into the classroom and am excited to work with all of you!

My lessons are structured by Investigative teaching that narrows down what you know to focus on areas of necessary improvement.
Lesson plans are 100% individualized for the student in order to help stimulate genuine interest in the topic and to better instructional and improvement methods.
Each session will include:
- a brief (5 minute) interview process with the student to determine the area of focus.
-Overview of topic (5-10 minutes) with brief presentation
-Topic Demonstration (minimum of 3 examples by the tutor)
- Student Input and Examples (3-5 example problems)
- Lesson Review/Q+A (10 minutes)
- Preview of Next Lesson (if applicable)
I can teach all subjects from Elementary to High School. I can also teach Spanish and Writing at the University Level.
