• When did you start practicing? How did this passion find you?

  I've always loved teaching, especially because my mother is a teacher! I enjoy human contact and helping people develop self-confidence.

• Which artists or works affect you the most?

  I love French and Italian cinema from the 60s. I like to study by watching films.

• What are the qualities and skill required to succeed in this area?

  To learn a foreign language, you need to understand that it's a very practical subject, so you need to listen a lot and speak as much as possible. It's like learning to dance: there's theory, but it's practice that makes the difference.

• What is the most valuable advice you can give to help someone stay focused on creative projects?

  To learn a language, the most fun and useful thing to do is travel! Try to go to the country where the language you're studying is spoken; that way, you'll also learn about many aspects of the culture.

• How would you describe your passion; how does it make you feel?

  I love speaking languages. I find it fun as an exercise, but the best part is definitely learning about the culture of the country where the language is spoken. For me, it's a pleasure and a constant challenge.

• What creative achievements are you particularly proud of?

  I'm very proud of my pronunciation skills. It's a fantastic thing to be able to reproduce the sounds of a language completely different from your own.

• Have you ever been surprised by a student; by their ability or quick progression?

  There are students who have an innate quality and are very good at learning. This surprises me every time! For them, learning a language is like playing a game.

• Being a Superprof is an art! What is your secret?

  My secret is the passion I put into it. I find teaching really fun, which is why I chose this profession and I hope to do it for as long as possible.
