About Shreya
I am currently an undergraduate at NTU studying Bioengineering, with a strong academic background in Mathematics and the Sciences. I achieved top IB results and 9 A* at IGCSE, and received offers from leading universities including Imperial College London, UCL, UIUC, Purdue, and NTU. I have also been awarded the UKMT Gold Award three times.
I specialize in tutoring IGCSE Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology for secondary students up to Grade 10. My teaching approach focuses on building a strong conceptual foundation, followed by structured practice through past paper drilling and targeted questions. I provide weekly homework and track student progress closely to ensure consistent improvement.
I have prior experience tutoring students for entry into top international schools in Hong Kong, where my students received offers and demonstrated significant grade improvement. Beyond academics, I have led Biology ECAs, coordinated the International Youth Maths Challenge in my school, and founded a STEM magazine, reflecting my passion for education and mentorship.

I offer structured and engaging lessons for students studying IGCSE Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology. My teaching approach focuses on building strong conceptual understanding first, followed by targeted practice to improve accuracy and exam performance. I break down complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand steps and adapt my pace based on each student’s learning style. I also do assign weekly homework, in order for students to retain concepts.
Each lesson is typically 2 hours once a week, allowing enough time to review content, practise questions, and clarify doubts in depth. I also provide additional support with exam techniques, past paper strategies, and common question types.
I have prior tutoring experience helping two students prepare for entrance into top international schools in Hong Kong. Both students received offers and showed significant improvement in their academic performance and report grades.
My lessons are suitable for upper primary and secondary students taking IGCSE or equivalent curricula, especially those looking to strengthen their foundation or achieve higher grades.
