About Brady
Hi everyone! I am a recent graduate with a B.S. in Biology, and will be attending medical school in the near future. I often reflect on the invaluable impact that teachers, coaches, and professors have had on my life and its progression. Because of their influence, I have developed a passion for teaching, with the ultimate goal of helping others foster a love for learning. As a tutor I am focused on growth, not self-importance, with a desire to extend the positive impact that I have experienced through my instructors. I am convinced that the process of learning is best had in a dynamic non judgmental environment that holds high standards. This is where the art of teaching comes in, a developing skill that I can offer as a tutor.

During my time in undergrad I spent extensive time tutoring biology and chemistry at the university level. This experience helped me refine the areas that I needed to work on when it came to communication, teaching methods, and ultimately leadership. I quickly realized that one person's preferred learning style on a particular subject might differ from the student next to them. I learned to ask the right questions and listen intently to student's answers, which proved effective in subject learning and understanding. This will be my starting point with each student that I instruct, so that every student feels comfortable and able in their learning environment. A few of techniques that I embrace are spatial and active recall, visual learning that is layered, and frequent review and discussion of surrounding and CURRENT topics (applying the material makes it fun!). I am comfortable teaching the above-mentioned subjects to K-12, and mathematics through 10th grade.
