About Molly
Hello! I have just graduated from Cardiff Uni doing biological sciences and am about to start my master's degree! I have field experience in a lot of interesting areas of biology including animal biology in Borneo so I have a lot of real life and interesting examples to make the subject both engaging and relatable! I am also a wildlife photographer with a huge love for art! I studied Biology (A), psychology (A*), art (B) and maths (AS only) at A-level. Before which I was set on doing art at uni before my tutor at A-level ignited my passion for biology and I would love to do the same for others. I have tutored ages 13-18 as well as having 5 years experience as a forest school helper and peer listener so I am very experienced at working with a range of ages. As someone who sat their A-levels not too long ago, I am familiar with the exam styles and know that every young person learns in a different way. I will style my tutoring to fit your child, whether its diagrams, mini-presentations or practice questions or a combination. As someone who has used a tutor, I know that exams aren't only about knowing the content but knowing how to answer the question and having someone there to help one on one made the world of difference to me. I sought out tutoring for my final year of A level Biology as I was struggling and needed a B in order to get into my first choice university. With Molly's help I improved my grade from a D to a B. She was very supportive and helpful and worked very hard and I am very thankful for all of her help.
Molly and I have attended university together for three years; during this time, Molly has helped me to teach me core concepts in our biology modules in order to build a solid foundation. She is able to use different approaches to teaching depending on which style of learning is most suitable to the tutee.
