About Rob
My name is Rob and I am currently engaged in a Biological Sciences degree at Durham University, and I am planning to progress towards a PHD. I have found tutoring to be a great way to aid the learning of both struggling and intrigued students while also keeping me reminded of the basics of my own subject. I also believe the best way to learn is to be able to enjoy it - I have found that it is incredibly difficult to excel in a subject that bores you to death. And Biology is a genuinely fun subject, which I hope to show to every student I teach.

I believe every student has the right to engage in their own learning styles, whether it be visual, auditory, physical or logical. I offer a personalised experience to ensure the preferred style can be engaged, explored and improved. Timings would preferably be 1+ hours per week, with schedules flexible to your own requirements.
Ideally, we would focus on the AQA A-Level Biology spec (of which I received an A*) but we can be flexible with different specifications or levels. The focus can be on purely required content, but the option to go above spec will also be provided for intrigued students, with justifications on the hows and whys that I found made many A-Level concepts much simpler when explained.
