About Zara
I hold a Master’s degree in Biology and have spent the last decade teaching students the beauty and logic behind living systems. My teaching style emphasises understanding, curiosity, and interconnection — showing how biology links molecular detail with the bigger picture of life. I design my sessions to be interactive and exploratory. Students are encouraged to ask questions, form hypotheses, and think independently. I use storytelling to connect lessons — illustrating how each discovery in biology has shaped our understanding of health and the natural world. My approach blends academic rigour with creativity. I use animations, real case studies, and analogies that relate to human experience, making learning both enjoyable and memorable. My Biology lessons start with exploring the building blocks of life — cells, DNA, and biochemical processes — before moving into systems physiology, genetics, and evolution. Interactive diagrams, models, and multimedia presentations make complex systems easy to understand. I also introduce students to experimental reasoning — analysing data, interpreting results, and drawing conclusions like scientists. Each session integrates the relevance of biology in modern research, from genetics and bioinformatics to ecology and health sciences. Students learn how biology applies to careers, technology, and innovation. By the end, learners develop not only biological knowledge but also scientific reasoning and critical analysis — skills essential for higher studies and research.
