About Emily
I am an undergraduate student studying Biomedical Sciences, I have a DBS check but most importantly I have lots of experience with teaching GCSE and A level students. Especially with COVID, I have found that students need more encouragement and support than ever before due to the lack of face to face time they have had over the past couple of years. It is important for me to build their confidence as well as their knowledge.

Hi, my name is Emily and I will be giving lessons to GCSE and A level students. Chemistry is my favourite subject and I have a passion for teaching it. Whether it is to push a student from a 5 to a 6 or from an 8 to a 9, I am ready to cater to your needs. As a tutor I like to focus on building confidence with my students and give them advice and tips on exam technique. As well as this I like to give lots of exam questions so that students can get comfortable with the exam rubrics. In year 10 I went from being an average grade 7 student to a grade 9 student, that's why because of this I am confident that I can do the same for other students.
