About Emi
I’ve spent over 4 years teaching English and guiding young learners as they take their first steps into reading. With a degree in English Language and Professional Writing, I bring both structure and creativity to every lesson. My greatest joy comes from introducing children to stories that light up their imagination. Through picture books, rhyme, and storytelling, I help them connect words to feelings and ideas. I focus on building phonological awareness, vocabulary, and comprehension in engaging ways. Every lesson encourages active participation and joyful discovery. For emergent readers, I emphasize sound recognition and confidence. For early elementary students, we dive deeper into story structure and meaning. I believe that reading should feel like play, not work. Each session is filled with laughter, creativity, and imagination. My goal is simple — to help children fall in love with words.
