As a self-taught chef with over 17 years of hands-on cooking experience, I've developed my skills through a unique journey of trial and error. At the age of 14, I started this culinary adventure, perfecting dishes through observation, intuition, and countless hours in the kitchen. Unlike traditional methods, my learning process was rooted in practice rather than formal instruction. That's why this background of mine uniquely equips me to guide beginners through the cooking process, providing clear, practical, and easy-to-follow instructions. As a cooking tutor, my approach is rooted in patience, clear communication, and hands-on learning. I specialize in teaching Romanian traditional cooking, but also cater to individuals who are new to the kitchen.
I believe in a practical, experiential learning approach. I start by introducing the fundamental concepts and techniques for required recipes, or setting the lessons myself if the student doesn't know with what to being with, breaking down each step and explaining the reasoning behind it. I also provide visual aids and demonstrations to enhance understanding. Moreover, I encourage questions and actively involve students in the cooking process to reinforce their learning.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my tailored approach for beginners. I understand the challenges of those new to the kitchen, and I excel at breaking down complex techniques into manageable steps. Additionally, my expertise in Romanian traditional cooking offers a unique and culturally enriching experience for my students.
