About Edmar victor
Graduate and teacher in history, I am a teacher for almost a decade in different settings. When I came to Mexico in 2015 to do my doctoral studies, the opportunity presented itself to expand my vocation to also teach Portuguese for foreigners. Currently I have two years with that experience that I really enjoy.

My classes try to value the recreational potential of the classes and use interesting aspects of Brazilian culture as tools. In this sense, I seek to incorporate a lot of music, literature and small historical accounts, always seeking to find, along with the students, their topics of interest. I also seek to teach certain structural features that greatly facilitate the learning of Portuguese by the Spanish speaker, mainly. Did you know that Spanish and Portuguese share about 80% of their vocabulary? Most of the changes are related to usage, particles within a word or phonetic adaptations.
