About Eduarda
As a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker and current student at Rice University, I bring both cultural authenticity and academic discipline to my teaching. Having lived in Brazil, Florida, and now Houston, I understand the challenges of learning and adapting to new languages firsthand. My multilingual background in Portuguese, Spanish, and basic Italian allows me to clearly explain grammar, pronunciation, and language patterns to English-speaking learners. Lessons are structured, personalized, and goal-oriented, ensuring students build real confidence in speaking and reading Portuguese in practical, everyday situations.

Brazilian Portuguese lessons focused on beginner learners, emphasizing speaking, pronunciation, and reading through personalized methods tailored to each student’s goals. Lessons can be adapted for travel, professional, academic, or conversational needs. I was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, where I lived until 2018, before moving to Florida, where I developed conversational Spanish skills until 2022. Since then, I have been living in Houston. My background in Portuguese, Spanish, and basic Italian helps support students who already speak related languages, making learning more intuitive and accessible.
