About Vitoria
E aí, tudo bem contigo? I am absolutely in love with my first language, Portuguese, and fascinated by language acquisition in general. If you are interested in learning Portuguese through joy and laughter, focusing on communication and confidence building, while diving into fantastic cultures and hearing about many linguistic funfacts... I might be your cup of tea! I promise there's a new world of wonders to know, and I have been a teacher for over a decade, so you bet I know plenty of tricks to support you and your process through Portuguese!

- Graduated in one of the top Universities in Brazil (UFRGS);
- Knowledge background in Linguistics, Sociology and Literature;
- 12 years of experience teaching in diverse settings;
- Experience teaching in three different countries;
- Experience teaching from kindergarten to seniors;
- Fluent in Portuguese and English, intermediate in Spanish and Italian, currently studying Japanese.

- Comunicative aprouch to language: classes are focused on speaking fluency and comprehension (yes, you will speak Portuguese since class 1);
- Adaptive methodology based on and tailored to each students needs;
- Class plans based on student interests (tell me what you like and I'll bring it to class!);
- All material necessary for classes will be provided;
- Extra class work is mandatory; but amount, intensity and type... those are negociable;
- Lesson length from 1 hour to 4 hours a week (less than an hour is not efective, and more than 4 tends to be overwhelming);
- Culture is inherently connected to language, therefore we will talk about culture in every class;
- Lessons include many silly jokes (but some smart ones as well);
- Life is too short to learn without playing games, right? :)
