About Willow
Music is very important to me. I can think of nothing better than sharing skills and developing passion for the art form. I know from experience how important it is to find the right teacher for you, and so I will work with your own personal wants and skills to ensure that you get what you want out of the lessons I provide. Music is such a wonderful outlet and can be so important to creative development. It doesn't matter how old you are, it's never too late to pick up a new skill.
I have been playing music since a very young age, have been a part of instrumental ensembles and choirs and have never found a more rewarding job than in teaching.
I have experience in traditional/classical and contemporary music and teach both traditionally and orally.

I specialise in teaching string players and vocalists of all levels and have experience teaching music theory up to grade 5. I am happy to prepare students for exams and auditions, or just to develop skills they are passionate about.
I work in a multitude of styles, from classical to punk, and alter my teaching style to match my student's needs.
My lessons range from 30 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on age and ability, and my first lesson is always free, as I use this session to get to know my students, as I am aware of just how important it is to find the right teacher for your learning style.
I have experience teaching young children and adult beginners, and am happy to teach both 1 on 1 and group sessions.
