About Samantha
Teaching singing is my way of keeping the old mountain traditions alive for the next generation. 9 years of experience have taught me that the voice is the most personal instrument anyone can own.
I work with absolute beginners and performance-focused students who want to build a real foundation. We spend time on breathing control and mastering both head and chest voice.
You will learn to use vibrato control to add color to your songs. My approach includes everything from basic warm-up exercises to advanced resonance training. Your voice deserves careful attention. I assign specific homework vocal drills after every single session to reinforce our progress. We spend time on sight singing and microphone technique to prepare you for the stage. My background in traditional music from Belmont University informs how I teach tone and resonance.
Pitch control is a priority for every student. It takes patience to build your stamina.
Keep practicing. We monitor your breathing to ensure you have the support needed for longer phrases. I use my 9 years of experience to adjust our focus as you gain confidence. You will notice how much more resonant your voice feels after a few weeks of consistent work.
