About Joshua
Hey there! Joshua Morgan, here. A working actor, director and producer based in Brooklyn, NY. II’ve spent over two decades performing and teaching professionally, from Broadway to television to regional theaters across the country.
After graduating from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, I ran a theater I founded in Washington, DC before moving to NY to join the last revival of LES MISERABLES before originating the role of "Shelly Berger" in the OBC of AIN'T TOO PROUD.
I've guest-starred on shows like Law & Order and FBI, and have directed reimagined classics and world premieres as well as performed all around the country.
I coach actors because I love the work. I believe in creating a space that’s honest, rigorous, and artist-centered. My job is to help you sharpen your instincts, build confidence in your choices, and unlock the clarity and freedom you need to tell compelling stories—whether you’re prepping for a callback, working on new material, trying to build a set of tools you can use regularly or rediscovering the joy of your craft. Sessions are tailored to your needs, offered online or in person, and always grounded in mutual respect and shared curiosity. I'm a process oriented artist and teacher. What that means is that I'm less interested in "getting it right" once and instead making sure you have an idea of how to approach your work in any scenario.

Joshua is not only a phenomenal actor but he’s a phenomenal teacher. He cares deeply about his students whether it is teaching them acting or the business of show. Although his work is raw and unique as an actor, his years as an artistic director and director provide a steady hand and a keen eye that makes one feel safe to take risks and to take up space.
