About Audrey
I am a32 year old mother of 2 girls who are part of my students. I am a native English speaker born of a British father and Zimbabwean mother. As a person I am in between introvert and extrovert, I enjoy a good book I a quiet corner as well as a night out with friends, my hobbies include meeting new people, travelling, gardening, creative arts and DIY projects at home. Family, success, love and kindness mean the world to me.
I hold a 120hr TEFL certificate I attained during the covid pandemic to help me enhance my homeschooling technics. This has also helped me rotate several teaching methods with my private tutoringproving my students with the best learning experience and improvement with their subject goals.

Firstly i take pride in getting to know my students, this gives me great inside into why they are learning English and this helps me with the method I can best use. I make my lessons interactive so the student does not get bored. Examples are board games like scrabble, flash cards and use of rhymes and
I am mindful of my body language and the tone of my voice. I also use visual content and repetition of lessons done once a week as a recap.
