About Kaniel
Hi! I'm a BSN nursing student and CNA who genuinely loves helping others feel confident in healthcare. I've spent time both in the classroom and at the bedside, so I understand nursing concepts from both sides the "why" behind the material and how it actually plays out with real patients.
Learning this stuff can feel overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be. I'm patient, easygoing, and always happy to answer "silly" questions (there's no such thing!). Whether you're a CNA student, pre-nursing student, caregiver, or just curious about elderly care, I'd love to help you build real confidence in what you're learning.

About My Lessons
As a BSN nursing student and CNA, I've lived both sides of the classroom the late nights trying to make sense of dense material, and the bedside work where that material actually matters. I know what it's like to struggle with a subject and have to find your own way through it, which is exactly why I tutor the way I do: patiently, practically, and with the belief that anyone can learn this material with the right approach.
My Teaching Approach
I tailor my method to how each student actually learns, not a one-size-fits-all script. That means clear explanations, real patient-care examples pulled from my own CNA experience, practice questions, and back-and-forth discussion so you're understanding the material, not just memorizing it for the test. I also share the study strategies that helped me push through the classes I found hardest — because I've been there, and I know textbook advice doesn't always work in practice.
A Typical Lesson
We start by figuring out your goals and where you're getting stuck. From there, we review the key concepts, connect them to real clinical scenarios, work through practice problems or skills together, and wrap up with a clear summary of what to remember and what to keep practicing before next time.
What Sets Me Apart
I'm not just teaching from a textbook — I'm actively living this material as a nursing student and working hands-on with patients as a CNA. That combination means I can connect classroom concepts to what actually happens in clinical settings, and I bring real experience with compassionate care, communication, safety, and critical thinking. I'm also endlessly patient, because I remember what it felt like to not get it yet.
