About Alia
Hey. My name is Alia, and I'm a 3rd year Economics with Management student at Durham University. From a young age, I've been fascinated by the world around me. I always questioned how the world and the interactions that occur around me had come to be established. This transpired into my love for History and Economics at school and the reason why I chose to pursue Economics at University.

Depending on the course studied, tutoring will be covered thematically within the subject area. The curriculum will be fully covered, ensuring the exam specification is explored according to the requirements of relevant exam boards. I will use visual aids, such as mind maps, videos and flash cards to help consolidate knowledge. Moreover, any areas of difficulty will be covered regularly to ensure students are well equipped. The analytical skills required to answer questions will also be developed by practising exam questions and an easy to follow method to tackle any exam question will be used.
In Economics, macro and micro will be covered in conjunction to ensure subject areas are developed fully. I will use visual aids, with plenty of diagrams to further consolidate knowledge. I aim to add my own passion for the subject by discussing real-world applications with students to help them further their knowledge and understanding of the subject content.
