About John
Over nearly two decades of experience in finance/investment, investor relations, and consulting, I have experienced all sorts of ways to fail and succeed in financial modelling. I appreciate more than most how a well-architected financial model can make your professional and even personal life much better.
Among other things I run a couple of startups, one of which is developing an AI financial modelling platform.

My lessons are practical, case-based, and are focused on financial modelling and valuation and the major spreadsheet techniques that contribute to these workflows.
These are applied lessons in modelling that are focused on translating between financial models and fundamental investment arguments. I strongly encourage clients to provide specific modelling cases/companies (if financials are publicly available) to maximise relevance.
My lessons are NOT introductory Excel lessons or tutorials for formulas/shortcuts - I must admit I am not qualified for this sort of thing!
