About Sahana
I am a 3rd year student at Emory University, but I am originally form the Bay Area, CA. I have experience working with elementary, middle school, and high school students over the past 4 years in tutoring. I've also been a debate coach for the past 3 years, teaching over 100 students, and helping qualify 10 to Nationals.

I've had an affinity for reading and writing since a young age. I am a recipient of multiple national Scholastic Writing Awards, have won regional writing competitions, and have written for many magazines. I'm also an experienced teacher that has been tutoring for over 4 years!
My approach to tutoring emphasizes adaptive learning and active engagement. I focus on understanding the student’s individual needs, learning style, and current knowledge base. I encourage students to think critically and teach the skills necessary to get there.
