About Shrey
I will be starting sophomore year at Westlake High School in Austin, Texas, this fall, taking calculus for the first time. Tutoring for me is a chance to share what I love about math. I love to treat math as a puzzle! I have never gotten below an A in math, so one way I challenge myself is by participating in Math Olympiads. Outside of math, I also love hiking, playing with my dog, and playing the piano.

As a student who has taken classes like Pre-algebra, Algebra One and Two, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-calculus, I am qualified to not only teach these subjects, but give advice on how to get better grades. As a tutor, I want to help students realize that math is more than just formulas and theorems. My goal is to make sure you have an understanding of the concepts and reasoning, not give you formulas to memorize. This is what I love about Math. Finally, my lesson plans are pretty flexible. If a student has a specific question, I can go through it with them. If not, I can go over topics for the subject, and we can work through problems.
