About Miling
Teaching flute is more than a profession for me—it is my passion. Over the past 10 years, I have taught High School, College, and adult students, totalling around 150-200 learners. My approach emphasises patience, motivation, and personalised guidance, ensuring that students feel confident and inspired as they learn.
One of my proudest milestones was helping a group of students perform together at a community recital. Witnessing their teamwork, growth, and joy on stage was incredibly rewarding. I tailor lessons to each student’s individual goals and learning style.
I am combining technical mastery with creativity and expression. I aim to create a supportive environment where students can thrive, build confidence, and develop a lifelong appreciation for music.

I teach flute with a practical, motivating, and student-focused methodology. Using real-life examples and case studies, I connect theory with performance, making concepts easy to understand and remember. Motivation is at the heart of my teaching, inspiring students to explore their creativity, stay confident, and enjoy learning music.
Problem-solving is a central part of my lessons. I guide students to tackle technical or musical challenges independently, helping them develop skill and confidence. Integrity is a key value, promoting discipline, honesty, and respect for music. My lessons are flexible, customised to each student’s abilities, pace, and goals.
In addition to flute, I provide instruction in music theory and fundamentals to build a strong foundation. My methodology ensures lessons are effective, engaging, and tailored to each student, helping them grow into skilled, confident, and creative musicians.
