About Maisy
Hi my name is Maisy, I am 23 years old and just graduated from Cambridge. I have completed my undergraduate degree (biological and biomedical sciences) and am taking a year out before I return to clinical Veterinary medicine.
I have two years of experience tutoring students both in person and online and am DBS checked. I really enjoy helping students and finding new ways to explain concepts so they understand how to tackle a question or problem.

I believe that one to one lessons have the ability to instil the confidence in students which they so often need. I hope that my classes can give students this confidence in themselves and techniques for tackling questions so they can achieve their best.
My approach to tutoring is focussed on the student and their needs I try to share my passion for maths and biology and make learning fun. I make my own work sheets and mini tests which are tailored for each individual in the area they need support. Although I like to plan my classes I am also flexible and if a student needs help in a different area we will focus there.
I have also helped students with Oxbridge prep looking through personal statements and helping with interview and test preparation. As a Vet student I have also gone through the Vet school application process and am happy to help students through this too.
Lessons typically last for one hour, however if a student needs longer their needs come first and we can arrange longer or more frequent lessons.

We employed Maisy Redmayne as a Maths tutor for our daughter in the two years prior to her GCSE exam. Maisy is an outstanding teacher and our daughter loved her classes. Maisy is extremely professional, conscientious, patient and kind and was always very well prepared for the classes. She was able to pinpoint the problem areas that our daughter was experiencing and worked through them with her in a very clear and pedagogical way, enabling her to get a high grade in her GCSE Maths.
