I absolutely love my lessons with Hugo, I’m so glad I found him. He’s so passionate about what he does, and I love learning from a working singer because you get so much more than vocal techniques, you get performance guidance too. He also has an absolutely beautiful voice which makes lessons an extra joy. Highly recommended!

Hugo is a wonderful teacher. I have been working with him for a few months and I have really benefitted from working with him, my confidence in my singing abilities has grown massively, and being able to connect with the songs I am singing. Hugo provides tailored support to his students which is brilliant (even though that means he will not let me get away from exercises that I am not as good at and that I don’t want to do but that’s literally his job). All with kindness and a wicked sense of humour

My son recently sat his exams for the International Baccalaureate. While he’s always been a bit of an all-rounder, he was a bit apprehensive his English exams. I hired Hugo to help my son during his last academic year, mostly during the revision period prior to exams. These sessions mainly covered studying the poems assigned in the IB and practicing how to structure essays when analysing poems (exam prep)..

Working with Hugo was a delight, as he was very professional and always flexible when arranging tutoring sessions to fit into my family’s busy schedule. At the start of tutoring we discussed by email what our goals were for the tutoring sessions and Hugo came up with a timetable of topics to cover week by week, which reassured me and gave my son a bit more structure to his revision.
