About Finley
Hi there, I'm Finley Cambridge graduate who's spent the last 3 years studying natural sciences after finishing my A levels in 2019 with 3 A*'s in biology chemistry and maths. I've been tutoring for 4 years for people aged 14 to 18 and have found that there's no "on-size-fits-all" for teaching different students. I dedicate my first lesson to finding out which subjects need work before starting to focus on topics in a style that fits the student's needs.

My teaching is very personalised and based on identifying individual's needs. After identifying weak areas the lessons will focus on increasing confidence and ultimately performance in those subjects. I teach biology, chemistry, and maths up to A levels standard as they are all part of my degree. I can also help with applications to universities and interview preparation, especially in regards to Oxbridge.

Fin tutored me in chemistry and maths A level and was honestly great. He helped me get an A* in both subjects that I otherwise wouldn’t have got. He was very patient when I didn’t get topics and would work through content logically in steps that were easier to understand.
Finley has been tutoring my daughter for 1.5 years now in both chemistry and biology A level content as we are very glad we have him! He's been great for improving my daughter's confidence, especially with mathsy content that she was particularly anxious about, and is always approachable and friendly in and out of lessons.
