About Claire
Over the course of many years teaching Art & Design internationally, I have recognised that teaching Art Internationally for examination at CIE level requires a thorough subject knowledge, experience of the marking schemes and training to be able to inspire and motivate pupils to complete the evidence required for submission.
The dedication and commitment pupils require is unlike many other subjects. Motivation and inspiration from the Art Teacher as well as skilled support are vital for pupils to maintain focus. I have noted this and in support of this process have undertaken a CPD course in Art Therapy which has informed my practice to provide pupils with opportunities to continue to enjoy and engage with joy and enthusiasm whilst still working to create the evidence required for submission.
By acknowledging and developing this fresh approach to my teaching methods I believe that I am closely aligned with my pupils to empathize, guide and coach them to attain the grades they require to access the next step of their growth.
By supporting pupils through my teaching to maintain enthusiasm, skills and fresh visual responses to the world they encounter.

IGCSE 0400 Component 2. - Supporting studies and final outcome ( 8 hour 4+4 supervised test at Cambridge Centre) 4 days + exam support
AS Level 9479 Component 1 Portfolio and final outcome externally assessed by Cambridge UK (submitted on A2 sheets). 6 days
AS Level 9479 Component 2 Supporting studies and final outcome ( 15 hour 5+5+5 supervised test at Cambridge Centre) 6 days + exam support
A Level 9479 Component 3 - Personal Investigation
Practice work
1000 - 1500 written analysis 6 days
1st hour free - online meeting to discuss pupils requirements and outline course.
Portfolio creation sketchbook or online,Social Media presence support/personal statement preparation/ letter of reference included prior to the end of the courses.
On-line
